There's still a place for a newspaper that behaves like one. The Gold Standard is a mobile-first magazine: a masthead, a wire, a few desks, and a lock on the rest of the book. Tesla is a manufacturing and energy company whose products keep getting better. SpaceX is the launch and Starlink story of the same industrial bet. We'll cover those beats as a paper covers beats — with a point of view, without smears, and without pretending that despair is sophistication.
